Release iCloud For Windows Version 5 And Adds iCloud Photo Library And Many More

Apple has made the Windows side of iCloud even better with the new release of iCloud for Windows version 5, which brings features such as iCloud Photo Library to the PC for the first time. Alongside the new photo management opportunities afforded by iCloud Photo Library, PC users can now also use two-factor authentication with their Apple IDs, something that should be welcomed by all.

Use iCloud Photo Library on your Windows PC to download all of the photos and videos from your Apple devices to your computer, or upload your Windows Pictures library to iCloud. And when you turn on iCloud Photo Sharing, you can share your captured memories with just the people you choose.
Apple’s iCloud Photo Library is its attempt to take the headache out of managing a large collection of photos, with users of iPhones, iPads, Macs and now PCs able to have instant access to their entire library of photos no matter where they are. It’s a feature that works well when iCloud is on its game, and falls over like a lame animal when it isn’t. Personally I am not sure if i can trust Apple’s cloud abilities enough to give it all of my photos, but if you’re of a different opinion, then more power to you.

And you can now use a PC to view your images, too.
You can head on over to the Apple website in source below to download the latest version of iCloud for Windows if you don’t already have the application installed, or simply launch it to get an update prompt.
